Location & Getting There:

  • Campsite Address: Our campsite is located at Plot No. 1193, Barabar Hill Road, near the Nagarjuni Caves cluster in the Jehanabad district, Bihar.

  • From Patna: The journey is approximately 85-95 km and typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours by car.

  • From Gaya: The journey is approximately 25-30 km and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours by car.

  • Travel Arrangements: We can arrange a dedicated private taxi for pickup and drop-off from Patna or Gaya for a seamless experience. Please select this option during booking if required. The final stretch to the campsite is on a scenic rural road.

Best Time to Visit:

  • Winter (October to March): This is the ideal season for camping. The weather is cool and pleasant, making it perfect for daytime trekking and caving. The nights are crisp and clear, offering excellent conditions for bonfires and stargazing.

  • Monsoon (July to September): This season transforms the hills into a lush, vibrant green paradise with a magical, misty atmosphere. It's a photographer's dream. However, please be aware that trekking trails can be slippery, and outdoor activities might be adjusted based on real-time weather conditions for your safety.

Campsite Facilities & Amenities:

  • Accommodation: You will be staying in high-quality, weather-proof tents equipped with comfortable bedding, pillows, and blankets.

  • Washrooms: We maintain clean, hygienic, and eco-friendly common washroom facilities with running water, located conveniently within the campsite.

  • Safety & Security: The campsite is well-lit and secured by our staff throughout the night. Our team is trained in first-aid and emergency response.

Food & Cuisine:

  • Our standard package includes Lunch, Evening Snacks, Dinner, and Breakfast.

  • We specialize in serving authentic, home-style Bihari cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It's a core part of the experience!

  • Filtered drinking water is available at all times.

  • Dietary Needs: Please inform us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific food preferences at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Activities & Fitness:

  • The activities offered, such as Rappelling, Night Trekking, and the Mauryan Trail Walk, require a basic level of physical fitness.

  • All adventure activities are conducted under the strict supervision of our experienced and certified instructors using industry-standard safety equipment. Participation is optional.

  • Our guided cave explorations involve walking on uneven terrain.

What We Recommend You Bring:

  • Footwear: Sturdy walking or trekking shoes with good grip are essential.

  • Clothing: Pack comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Light layers are great for adjusting to temperature changes. A warm jacket is necessary for winter nights. A raincoat or poncho is a must for the monsoon season.

  • Essentials: A personal torch or headlamp (very important for night activities), a power bank, any personal medications, and a valid government-issued Photo ID.
